Refreshingly bizarre and offbeat, SUNLIGHT is an amusing and touching tale of connection and empathy. Two people on the edge of life find purpose through an unlikely connection in this wonderfully quirky romantic comedy. Roy, a dysfunctional Radio host is literally pulled from the noose by Jane, who is escaping a controlling relationship while safely hidden away inside the security of a monkey costume. (Don't question... Just accept. The payoff is definitely worth it!). As they barrel down the road together in an old RV, their relationship begins to deepen and they hatch a plan to dig up the grave of Roy's blackbelt-in-dipshit dad to retrieve a watch they hope will fund a new life built on a shaky dream. Of course, the plan goes awry, but this is beauty and the beast in reverse! The charm and warmth in this hilariously dark and unconventional love story reminds us that there just isn't quite enough silliness in the world these days and sweetness and acceptance will always win no matter how unbelievable... and as these two unlikely characters drive off into the SUNLIGHT together you can't help but wish you could tag along for a bit more of their ride.AdventurePT1H36MNR2025-06-27Nina Conti
